Who are we?

We are non profit organisation registered in UK. We organise events and provide support to Kongu community people coming to UK.

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect includes your name, address, email, phone number, your kootam, family member name, email, phone, kootam, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. If you make a payment through online your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.
The third party provider we use to process payments is PayPal. Link to their websites are provided as link above. Once you are directed to their website, the details captured by them are held in their servers. Privacy policy applicable to the data captured by them can be seen in their website. This policy does not apply to those data.

Lawful Basis for Collecting Info

When you register as a member, we need to collect your personal details
  • • To identify you to provide the tickets and other benefits based on the membership.
  • • To provide access to member only area including sale, matrimony area and restricted gallery images.
  • • To collect the details to send you helpful information when we organize community events.

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.
